This project served to develop transient lodging facilities that enhance the Army Force XXI's training mission. Design modules were developed that could be used for new construction projects, and alternate unit prototypes were developed to accommodate renovation work in existing lodging buildings.

Standards were also provided for common areas and additional amenities (such as lobby, corridors, laundry, fitness center, and group study rooms).
